Pretty Pewter has graduated from cuddle collage with honours! She is seriously the best lap cat and will melt into you for hours of calm and loving bliss. Pewter has a lynx like look and has the softest fur that begs to be touched. She loves to be close to you and will sometimes get under your feet. Pewter is a survivor and pulled through her kitten illness like a champ. She received the very best of vet and at home care but has residual neurological damage. However, do not let this “paws” you from considering adding her to your home. Pewter plays, jumps, and can do anything her feline friends can do so. In fact, it is hard to even spot any issues as her condition is so very mild. She keeps herself very clean and has very good litter box habits. Please come and meet her and you will be sure to fall in love. Pewter came from a busy home and is well socialized. She would be great with older kids, cats, and polite cat-friendly dog. She would thrive with a young feline friend to share her playful energy—or better yet, be adopted with one of her current buddies! She may protest quietly if she must share her human friends lap but otherwise, she is purrfectly behaved and wouldn’t hurt a fly. Her loving and gentle energy will bring joy to any family lucky enough to welcome her. Please forgive any mistakes in this bio as it is hard to type this with her on my lap. Hi future family, I’m Duchess, or Duchy for short! I’m a really gentle, loving, independent and playful girl looking for kind, caring companions. I’m pretty much everything you’ve ever wanted in a cat: I love to sleep on your chest, explore new places, and be held so I can join you on your adventures around the house! I’m also very brave, curious, social, and am always happy to meet new people. I have a dog in my foster home, and my parents think I would do great with a doggy friend, as long as we have a slow introduction! Some of my favorite things are head scratches (I love to have my head and chin scratched like a dog), playtime with my feather toy, having conversations with my human, finding high perches to explore, and making biscuits when I’m happy.
